Women in Art
-An International Conversation of Makers, Museum Heads, Sellers and Supporters-
6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
At the fourth event of the successful speaker and networking event series “Women in Business Forum NYC”, initiated by the Austrian, German and Swiss American Chambers of Commerce, an international panel of high caliber women in the art world will discuss the journey of women from muses to makers, from artisans to fine art professionals and from hidden researchers to world leading sellers. What are the perspectives of women in art today – can they have it all? Is the art market more fluid and allows more flexibility for work-life balance models? Where do we find equal pay in the art market?
Keynote speaker and KHM museums’ director, Dr. Sabine Haag from Vienna, will give insights in the recent history of influential female artists and supporters of her organizations and will highlight trends and developments within the international museum world.
